This workshops objective is to encourage both complete novice, small scale and medium scale mead makers to be equiped with the knowledge to expand thier trade in the Great Plains Region. This course will focus on both the honey aspect as well as the art of meadmaking and it will even touch on the legality of going commercial. It truly has everything to offer for both the novice and intermediate meadmaker as well as anyone who is just interested in getting into this fascinating skillset.
This course is offered by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Bee Lab through the Great Plains Master Beekeeping Program. The cost for this class is $85 per person*.
