 Mead Making Workshop 2023

Mead making 101: Come join the UNL Bee Lab and local mead makers to learn how to make a fine wine from honey and what it takes to get started. Guest instructor Jay Francis will demonstrate how to make a marvelous mango mead while Pat England and Bob Hendrickson and Pat England will show you how to properly bottle a good mead. The course is held at Kimmel Orchard and will end with a tasting of several local meads.

This course is offered on November 18th by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Bee Lab through the Great Plains Master Beekeeping Program. The cost for this class is $30 per person*.
