Description

Join Michigan State University beekeeping instructors, Dr.Zachary Huang and Dr. Meghan Milbrath, for a queen rearing workshop. The hands-on session will cover grafting, starter colonies, finishing colonies, and more!

Participants will receive instructional videos to review before the workshop. There will also be a live Q&A session with instructors on Tuesday, June 13th at 7pm. It will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.

Registration is required, and space is limited. The workshop is $85 per person and includes lunch and a queen rearing manual.

This event is subject to change or cancelation due to weather or other circumstances.

Requirements

  • This event is only for adults (18 years or older).
  • All participants are expected to arrive with protective gear/clothing.
  • If you have ever experienced an allergic reaction to an insect sting, you must receive clearance from a medical professional and the program instructor prior to the event.
